Why Pilates?
Pilates is such a feel good movement. I have done Pilates during all phases of my life: while healthy, pregnant, post partum and during injury. It truly is ‘the movement that loves you back’.
What do you love about Pilates?
In a nutshell, I love how Pilates makes me feel – physically, emotionally and mentally !! I can walk into a class in any mood, and by the time I walk out, I am Teflon coated ! I feel stronger, happier and ready to get on with life. Pilates has been a constant in my life for over 20 years, and never once have I left a class feeling worse than when I entered. Pilates is my happy place……
How do you keep Pilates interesting for clients?
Part of the Pilates journey for any client is to create a mind body connection. That way, depending on how the client feels on the day, they can create their own challenge and make it interesting. I switch it up by using layers and different spring tension which gives the client many different options to work with.
